Development and maintenance of bioinformatics tools, protein function, and virology
Current Research Projects:
- Development and implementation of bioinformatics tools for computer cluster with 7 dual processor nodes and implementation of program for parallel computation.
- Use of amino acid properties and neural networks to predict conservation of protein structure and function upon mutagenesis.
- Use of signal processing algorithms to analyze nucleic acids and protein patterns.
