Research Interest:
The Molecular Basis of Circadian Rhythms

Current Research Projects:

  1. Dissecting the regulation of gene expression by the circadian clock in the model organism Chlamydomonas using promoter and mutant analysis.
  2. Construction of a phototaxis machine for monitoring the circadian rhythm in Chlamydomonas' swimming response to light.
  3. Knock-down of genes involved in circadian clock photo-entrainment using RNA interference.
