Biotechnology Services
The Biotechnology Center offers automated DNA sequencing via the ABI 310 and ABI 3130 genetic
analyzer. In addition, we can provide a range of biotechnology services including
genetic transformation, DNA isolation and amplification, and immunological assays.
Molecular diagnostic services include RFLP, RAPD and VNTR analysis, primer design, population and phylogenetic analyses. The Electron Microscopy Facility offers scanning and transmission microscopy, elemental analysis, and specimen preparation.
